Before founding Maii Studio, I studied a Master’s degree in Management & Finance and worked for several years as a Finance Manager. But creativity has always been a part of who I am. What began as a passion for photography gradually became something deeper. Finally, I decided to follow that passion and turn it into a full-time career.
Today, I have the privilege of documenting weddings across Europe, working alongside a dedicated team of photographers and filmmakers. We share the same philosophy: To observe with intention, to create with restraint, and to capture what is real.
We approach wedding films and photos like cinema. Every story has a rhythm, a mood, and its own quiet moments in between. We are drawn to natural light and real emotion. We often think in sequences, not just shots. How one moment flows into the next is what makes a film truly memorable. Sound matters just as much as visuals. Vows, speeches, and ambient moments bring the story to life in a way music alone cannot.
For us, photography and film are more than a profession—it’s an interpretation of life. Every couple who entrusts us with their memories gives us the privilege of turning fleeting moments into something everlasting.
Fun facts
- I once cycled around the Lake District in the UK — mostly for the views, partly for the struggle, and definitely for the stories.
- Wild camping is my way of resetting. Patagonia’s mountains taught me that the best places often come with the least comfort (see the photos here).
- I have a soft spot for analog photography — especially shooting with my Hasselblad 500CM. Slowing down the process makes every frame feel intentional.
- Before fully diving into the creative world, I worked in finance. So yes, I can both balance spreadsheets and chase sunsets.
